Candide at 250: Scandal and Success has been adapted from the exhibition of the same name held at The New York Public Library, Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, Sue and Edgar Wachenheim III Gallery, Fifth Avenue and 42nd Street, New York, NY 10018-2788, on view October 23, 2009–April 25, 2010. The exhibition was organized by Paul LeClerc, President and Chief Executive Officer, The New York Public Library, and curated by Alice Boone, doctoral candidate in English Literature, Columbia University.
